On Friday, Sophie Linnenbaum’s feature debut received the Filmfest Munich’s Förderpreis Neues Deutsches Kino Awards for Best Directing and Best Production (awarded to Britta Strampe and Laura Kippel of Bandenfilm). The film’s next festival stop will be Karlovy Vary.
Port au Prince Pictures will distribute the film in Germany in cooperation with Notsold.
