Following the previously announced world premiere of Michael Fetter Nathansky’s romantic drama EVERY YOU EVERY ME (Original Title: ALLE DIE DU BIST) in the Panorama section, it was announced today that two more films from production and distribution will celebrate their world premiere at the festival.
Matthias Glasner’s DYING and Claire Burger’s LANGUE ÉTRANGÈRE will celebrate their premiere in the festival’s competition.
DYING (Original Title: STERBEN) is a film about the intensity of life in the face of the impertinence of death. It is tender and brutal, absurdly funny and deadly sad, terribly bitter and sometimes surprisingly beautiful. Corinna Harfouch, Lars Eidinger, Lilith Stangenberg, Robert Gwisdek, Ronald Zehrfeld and Saskia Rosendahl can be seen in the leading roles in the production by Port au Prince Films and Senator Film. The film is being distributed by Wild Bunch Germany.
LANGUE ÉTRANGÈRE, which will be distributed by Port au Prince Pictures, is a German-French co-production by director Claire Burger starring Nina Hoss and Chiara Mastroianni among others.
