For her gripping performance as violin teacher Anna Bronsky in Ina Weisse’s THE AUDITION, Nina Hoss is to receive the prize of the German film critic’s association. The prize recognizes her performances in THE AUDITION and in Katrin Gebbe’s PELIKANBLUT and is the third award she has received for her Anna Bronsky after having been honored by San Sebastian International Film Festival and the International Film Festival of Stockholm.
THE AUDITION is a co-production of Port au Prince Film & Kultur Produktion, Lupa Film, Idéale Audience, ZDF and Arte. The film is available on DVD and online.
