Felix Randau’s new feature will celebrate its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival. In the autumn of 1952, journalist Hedda encounters Felix Kersten, Heinrich Himmler’s former masseur and confidant, who portrays himself as the man who saved thousands of concentration camp prisoners. What begins as an interview gradually turns into a tense psychological battle over truth, guilt and self-mythologising. The distinguished cast includes Claes Bang, Valerie Pachner, Susanne Wuest, Markus Meyer, Martin Müller and many other outstanding performers. Produced by Ostlicht Filmproduktion and Wega Film in co-production with MDR, ARTE and BR. Distributed by Port au Prince Pictures, with Filmladen handling distribution in Austria. World sales: Beta Cinema.
