EVOLUTION, the new film by writer-director-team Kornél Mundruczó and Kata Wéber (PIECES OF A WOMAN) is set to celebrate its world premiere at the Cannes-Premiere-section of this year’s edition of the festival. The film is a production of Match Factory Productions and Hungarian Proton Cinema in cooperation with ZDF/ARTE and Proton Theatre. It was funded by the Film- and Medienstiftung NRW, the MDM, the National Film Institute Hungary, the DFFF and the Hungarian Film Incentive. Port au Prince Pictures will distribute the film in Germany, World Sales will be handled by The Match Factory.
