From the extraordinary mind of Palme d’Or winning director Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and starring Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton, comes a bewildering drama about a Scottish woman, who, after hearing a loud ‘bang’ at daybreak, begins experiencing a mysterious sensory syndrome while traversing the jungles of Colombia.

MUBI will release MEMORIA in German theatres on May 5th in cooperation with Port au Prince Pictures. Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s film celebrated its world premiere at last year’s Cannes Film Festival where it was awarded the Jury’s Prize. In the following, MEMORIA was screened at numerous national and international film festivals.
